Hi!  My name is Andy and I am an East Carolina University Hospitality Management Alumni (Class of '97!)  Despite being an IT pro as my day job, I've always rented houses as a side gig.

In 2012 Mecklenburg county approved of ADU's - accessory dwelling units.  This allows a homeowner to build an attached or detached dwelling for whatever purpose they choose.  In 2014 we built our two bedroom one bath and started renting it online.  Then, in 2018 we built our second ADU on Porterfield Road in Charlotte.

US Census data shows between 2015 and 2019 Charlotte grew by about 19,700 people. That growth makes the Queen City one of the fastest-growing cities in the country.

These people need a temporary place to stay while relocating and so Charlotte For Less was born on November 17, 2017.  The demand is quite strong for the spaces we rent.  Please let us know if we can help you!
